Why not join us on our next Golf y Cultura trip and get to know the real Andalucía and beyond !.
Our upcoming trips include:- Spain :- Country Motto - "Plus Ultra" (Latin) - "Further Beyond" The formal name of the state is España in Spanish. The constitution changed the name of the state from the Reino de España (Kingdom of Spain) in 1978. This measure was taken to clarify the location of the modern state's sovereignty. There are a number of thoughts as to the origin of the Roman name "Hispania", which is the root of the Spanish name España and the English name Spain. The Costa del Sol/Costa del Golf is without doubt the most popular tourist destination and with direct flights from almost every main European city to Málaga airport (call sign AGP) it is a great location for a quick break.
Ireland Country Motto - The Land of One Hundred Thousand Welcomes The name 'Ireland' derives from Old Irish Ériu (in modern Irish, Éire) with the addition of the Germanic word 'land'. This word, from Proto-Celtic Iwerju, which also gave Middle Welsh Iwerd "Irish Sea", originally meant "fatness", in the sense of fertile. With direct flights available to Dublin and Cork the "Emerald Isle" the perfect choice for your next break away.
United Kingdom:-
Country Motto- Dieu et mon droit (French) - "God and my Right" England became a unified state during the 10th century and takes its name from the Angles, one of a number of Germanic tribes who settled in the territory during the 5th and 6th centuries. The capital city of England is London, which is the largest city in Great Britain, and the largest city in the European Union by most, but not all, measures.
Country Motto - Nemo me impune lacessit (Latin) - "No one provokes me with impunity" The Kingdom of Scotland was an independent state until 1st May 1707, when the Acts of Union (despite widespread protest across Scotland) resulted in a political union with the Kingdom of England to create the Kingdom of Great Britain. The Scottish gaelic name for Scotland is Alba.
Country Motto - Cymru am byth (Welsh) - "Wales Forever" The English name for Wales originates from the Germanic word Walha meaning "stranger" or "foreigner", probably derived from the term Volcae. The term also appears in the "-wall" of Cornwall. The Welsh call themselves Cymry in Welsh, which most likely meant "compatriots" in Old Welsh".
With numerous options for golf the United Kingdom is an ideal opportunity to combine a golf trip with a visit to many of the fasinating cultural options available.
Morocco:-
Country Motto - الله، الوطن، الملك ((Arabic) - "Allāh, al Waţan, al Malik" - "God, Nation, King" The full Arabic name of Morocco, Al-Mamlaka al-Maghribiya, translates to "The Western Kingdom". Al Maghrib (meaning "The West") is commonly used. For historical references, historians used to refer to Morocco as Al Maghrib al Aqşá ("The Farthest West"), differentiating it from the historical region called the Maghreb. With some great courses and the opportunity to experience a taste of Africa a trip to Morocco is one travel destination not to be missed.
Argentina:-
Country Motto - En unión y libertad - "In Union and Freedom" The name comes from the Latin term “argentum”, which means silver. The origin of this name goes back to the first voyages made by the Spanish conquerors to the Río de la Plata. The survivors of the shipwrecked expedition mounted by Juan Díaz de Solís found indigenous people in the region who gave them silver objects as presents.
Golf trips to Argentina are becoming more popular as they are great value - in the capital city Buenos Aires there is the possibility of joining a Tango class, visiting the Boca Juniors or River Plate football stadiums and maybe take in a soccer match or a visit to the many cultural areas such as the famous Recoleta being just some of the addtional options available.
Argentina has more golf courses than any other South American country and there are many within a 35 minute drive of the city centre. When planning a trip to Argentina, the most important thing to remember is that the seasons are the opposite of what they are in Europe. Summer in Argentina is between the months of December and March while winter is from June to October..
Event Management:-
In order to ensure everything goes according to plan there is an event manager on each trip who, in addition to providing commentary on all locations visited, will personally attend to all aspects of each trip and will be able to respond to any questions related to, transport, accommodation, golf, catering and organised visits for both Golfers and Non Golfers during each programme.
